Job Posting – Deburr Technician

Staub Precision Machine, a leading manufacturer in Hamburg is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This position is located in the Hamburg, NY area. The Mechanical Engineer must have at least 3+ years of manufacturing and design experience. The ideal candidate should also have a strong background in a manufacturing environment, solid modeling, lathe/mill exposure and good communication skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Utilize small hand tools and specialized equipment to perform assembly tasks with precision and accuracy, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Demonstrate exceptional manual dexterity by effectively positioning and manipulating parts to achieve optimal assembly results.
  • Perform finishing or deburring tasks under a microscope on parts after machining processes, ensuring smooth and polished surfaces that meet quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough visual and/or metric inspections of finished parts to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Possess both strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to identify and address any assembly issues or discrepancies, contributing to the overall quality of the finished product.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate closely with team members in a supportive and cooperative environment to achieve production goals.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for manufacturing and assembly work.

Requirements
  • Experience in deburring or similar role preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring tools
 
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
